Launched in August of 2022, Streets of Mauve LLC brings a level of quality, sustainability, and modern style to the modest way of dressing. Founder and CEO, Victoria Bucklew, had a dream at a young age of being a fashion designer. She attended Indiana State University’s Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising Bachelor’s program which featured a design emphasis and allowed her to begin to spread her wings into the world of fashion. After graduation, she felt God leading her to finally begin her own company, Streets of Mauve, and launched it the following fall. Streets of Mauve carries the mission of helping others’ fashion-related dreams become a reality and encouraging the next generation of modestly-dressed women.

Where did the name ‘Streets of Mauve’ come from?

The name all started from my great-grandmother, Deloris Ash. She was an true example of what a Proverbs 31 woman looked like in daily life. Although she sadly passed away when I was very young, she had a major influence on my life. She not only talked the talk but she walked the walk. She represented to me at an early age what a virtuous women should look like and the importance of putting God first. Some of the ways, that I remember her best are through her favorite color (Mauve) and favorite flower (a rose). I knew that when I created my company, I wanted to honor my family and Apostolic heritage and so, Streets of Mauve was born.
